Shepard Park Home Care
Shepard Park Home Care is licensed by the State of Minnesota as a Class F Home Care Provider. Our professional staff includes Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Home Health Aides committed to meeting the healthcare needs of residents at The Wellington and The Alton. Our RN/LPN staff is available on site 14 hours a day, 7 days a week and our home health aide staff is on site, providing care 24 hours a day. A registered nurse is on call 24 hours a day for any issues.
Nursing professionals provide clinical services such as assessing a resident's physical and cognitive health status; consultations with physicians on appropriate care needs; set-up, ordering and monitoring of medications; and ongoing communications with physicians, HHA's and family members.
Working under the supervision of our professional nursing staff, all of our Home Health Aides and certified nursing assistants and are listed on the registry. We require all our home health aide staff to complete additional training in caring for residents with memory loss. Beyond the homecare regulatory guidelines, HHA's receive additional training on an ongoing basis.

The Shepard Park Senior Housing Campus offers personalized services that can be customized to your specific needs. Services available include home made meals served in beautiful dining rooms, housekeeping, nursing, homecare, spiritual programming, educational opportunities and a full schedule of recreational and social activities. Each community on the campus offers its own activities, yet there are activities planned that welcome participation from all residents. Transportation service is provided for the entire campus with planned trips to local grocery stores, clinics, shopping, lunch, cultural outings, and much more.
